2. Key Requirements
Module Structure
Create a new module named "Document Management".
The module should include the following sections:
Document creation and editing (Document Type)
Approval workflow (This may be implemented based on the customer's needs)
Document storage and archiving (Document Upload or Archiving) (The word Storage may be use for other purposes)
Document search and reporting (Search)
'Reporting' may be a separate menu or even a module with its own submenus.
Document Creation and Editing (Document Type)
Add the ability to create new documents with the following details:
Parent Document Type
Document title
Document type (Type) (e.g., contract, report, instruction)
Description
Status (draft, approved, rejected)
Responsible person (Since documents are managed by departments, this option is not needed. For this reason, an additional menu, such as 'Access Control,' may be created later).
Documents should support file attachments (PDF, DOC, XLSX, etc.). (any)
Approval Workflow (This may be implemented based on the customer's needs or after the other menus are ready.)
Create an approval workflow for documents.
Add the ability to specify the sequence of approvers.
